On April 6, T-ara member Hyomin officially tied the knot in a private yet glamorous wedding held at The Shilla, one of Seoul’s most prestigious hotels. Her husband, a non-celebrity working in the financial sector, reportedly won her heart with his caring personality, and charmed many with his handsome and tall appearance.

Uniqueness of The Wedding Dress

Prior to the ceremony, pre-wedding photos of the couple were unveiled, drawing admiration online. Just as rumored, Hyomin’s groom appeared strikingly good-looking, while the bride herself radiated beauty in an elegant, intricately designed gown that gave off major princess vibes. The back view of her dress in particular drew praise from netizens for its sophistication and detail.

One touching moment saw Hyomin holding her father’s arm as she walked down the aisle, visibly emotional while exchanging vows with her now-husband.

For the first segment of the ceremony, she wore an extravagant, voluminous gown, while in the second segment, she changed into a simpler yet sparkling dress. With her long wavy hair cascading down, she elegantly walked arm-in-arm with her husband, who wore a beige suit.

The dress Hyomin wore in the first segment was from the 2025 S/S Zuhair Murad Haute Couture collection, with only two such dresses available in Korea, further drawing interest.

Star-Studded Wedding Guests

The wedding guest list was nothing short of star-studded. Fellow celebrities like Girls’ Generation’s Yuri, actors Lee Dong-wook and Im Si-wan, singer Gummy, and of course, T-ara members came together to celebrate the big day.

Not only Qri but also former member Jeon Boram, who left the group, was present. Boram wrote on social media, “Our radiant Hyomin today… Your wedding was like a scene from a fairy tale. Hyomin, I sincerely congratulate you once again on your new beginning.”

However, Soyeon, who is currently residing in Dubai after moving with her husband, footballer Jo Yu-min (who transferred to UAE’s Sharjah FC), was unable to attend due to unavoidable circumstances. On the March 3, Soyeon explained, “With an unmovable moving schedule + construction delays, and my dog Toto’s hospital visits and medication overlapping, I’m handling everything alone.” She added, “I couldn’t attend the national team games in March, missed all my April medical appointments in Korea, and now I can’t go to Hyomin’s wedding either,” expressing her regret.”

Same Wedding Venue With Jiyeon?

Photos of the wedding banquet also caught attention, as the reception was hosted at The Shilla, renowned for its premium dining and luxurious ambiance, making the event even more unforgettable.

In a poignant twist of fate, T-ARA’s Hyomin chose to hold her wedding at the exact same luxurious Seoul hotel where her bandmate Jiyeon had celebrated her own marriage just three years earlier. The venue, now imbued with layers of history for the group, became a symbol of both continuity and change, where past and present collided in bittersweet harmony.

For Jiyeon, this was a place of profound personal significance: it had once been the backdrop to her joyous union with baseball player Hwang Jae-gyun in December 2022, only to later become a reminder of heartbreak when their marriage dissolved after just two years. Yet, in a testament to the resilience of their sisterhood, Jiyeon returned to these halls not with sorrow, but to wholeheartedly celebrate Hyomin’s new chapter. Her presence radiated quiet strength, transforming the space from one of personal melancholy into a celebration of enduring bonds.

Fans everywhere are sending their congratulations to Hyomin and wishing her happiness in this new chapter of her life.
